Bello’s educational journey began in Yola and continued at Our Lady’s High School in Kaduna, where he graduated in 1971. In 2006, Bello was appointed by President Olusegun Obasanjo as Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, where he served until 2015.
