The Lagos State Government has announced a 90-day traffic diversion for vehicle owners on the Odo Iya Alaro Bridge commencing on Monday, July 22, 2024. The Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, announced this in a statement on Thursday, July 18. According to Osiyemi, the diversion is as a result of the deplorable state of the asphalt pavement and expansion joints on the Odo Iya Alaro Bridge.
