Vice-President Kashim Shettima on Saturday arrived at Damaturu, Yobe capital to launch an agriculture empowerment programme aimed at enhancing food security in the state and the country in general. Shettima, accompanied by Gov. Umara Zulum of Borno, landed at the Muhammadu Buhari International Cargo Airport, Damaturu and was received by the Governors of Yobe, Imo, and Bauchi State.
