Court grants suspected killer of Kwara monarch bail

The Kwara State High Court has released one of the suspected killers of the Onikoro of Koro, Peter Aremu, on bail. He was granted bail on health grounds. The suspects, a septuagenarian named Olowofela Oyebanji, who is the second defendant among others arraigned before Magistrate Monisola Kamson for alleged culpable homicide, was granted bail. Oyebanji’s counsel, Barrister Udeh, said at the Magistrates’ court that his client’s application for bail at the High Court had been granted. He said that Oyebanji could not physically appear in court because he was admitted to a hospital in Lagos State.
